Kurt was a devoted husband, sharing 30 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Tawnie (Schroyer) Hinish. Their relationship stood as a testament to commitment, partnership, and unwavering support—a bond built on love and strengthened through life’s many challenges and triumphs. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished memories that will continue to bring comfort to those who knew them both.
A proud and loving father, Kurt dedicated himself wholeheartedly to his children, Cory (Brittany), Kadin (Zach), Kurt Braeden, and Donovan. He was a constant source of encouragement and guidance, always present in both the big milestones and the quiet, everyday moments that define family life. His role as a grandfather—affectionately known as “Pappy”—to Lena, Beau, and Kyla brought him immense joy, and he treasured every opportunity to spend time with them, sharing wisdom, laughter, and unconditional love.
Kurt was also a loyal brother, a cherished relative, and a trusted friend.
