Saleh was involved in a late‑night crash just after 10:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026, when the vehicle he was driving struck the rear of a 2021 Peterbilt 567 tractor‑trailer. He was immediately transported to UAB Hospital in Birmingham with critical injuries. Despite the best efforts of medical personnel, Saleh succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on March 31, 2026.
